Client Profile: Unigroup Engineering & Michael Caine
Engine tuning specialists, Unigroup Engineering, are in charge of the race preparation of Michael Caine's Mazda RX7 for the NSW Production Sports Car championship. Envirage was initially approached by Michael to build his car in his simulator, which, to date, has been one of the most comprehensive simulator car builds. Michael quickly learnt that Envirage could do more than make his simulator more realistic and employed Envirage to advise on the necessary modifications to his real racing car. The suspension analysis showed the need for different spring and damper rates and now, as Michael says, "the car has never handled any better".
