Client Profile: Simon Hogg
Simon competes in the Cue Endurance Series with his Honda-powered Lotus Elise. His car has seen a progressive development over the past two years and Envirage has guided Simon along the way. Envirage provides race engineering support and has helped Simon find the deficiencies in his car compared to the other super-charged honda-powered Lotuses. Envirage measured the suspension of the Elise and, through the use of a 3D kinematic analysis, educated Simon on the suspensions advantages and disadvantages. Further work to the springs and dampers and some engine and drivetrain upgrades has seen Simon's Lotus edging very closely to the top of the time sheets, an excellent result considering that Simon is preparing the car at his home garage with very little professional help.
